To say that Blake Koch made a fast jump into NASCAR would be an understatement.  Blake signed on to drive for Richard Childress Racing in 2009, Daystar being an associate sponsor, with only 4 career races under his belt!   In just his third start in the K&N West Series, Blake had an amazing 5th place finish at All American Speedway.  During the 13 race series, Blake racked up 6 top-10 finishes and came home 8th in the final standings.
In 2010, Daystar Television Networks came on board as the Primary Sponsor for Blake.  He definitely didn’t disappoint, finishing in the top-ten in 7 of those starts.  Blake had 4 top-five finishes and a season best of 2nd in Irwindale.  Blake also made his ARCA debut at Palm Beach International Raceway and finished in an impressive 3rd place.
“Man it is just a dream come true to have Daystar back on board!  They started out with me as an associate sponsor for my rookie year in the K&N West Series, then took over as the primary for my second year in that series.  Now they have partnered back up to chase the rookie of the year title with us and reach out to millions of people to give them an opportunity to know Christ!”  – Blake Koch
“Over the last two years, we’ve had Blake in the car for three races.  He’s passionate about the sport, has a great attitude, loves life, and I believe Blake is ready to work hard for our team and our sponsors.”  – Randy MacDonald, No. 81 Car Owner
