Kyle Benjamin Inked for Two Races During the 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series Season Starting in Atlanta

Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) announces that Kyle Benjamin will pilot the No. 18 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) Toyota Camry for two races throughout the 2018 season.

Benjamin will run the Rinnai 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on February 24th, and the U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway on July 28th. PEAK Antifreeze & Coolant has been named the primary sponsor for Benjamin on the No. 18 Camry in Atlanta. The primary sponsor for Iowa will be announced at a later date.

“I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel of the No. 18 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing,” stated Benjamin. “I am confident that we can build on the speed from last year and compete for wins at both Atlanta and Iowa. I’m thankful that PEAK Antifreeze & Coolant gave me the opportunity to race in Atlanta, and I look forward to representing such a great product on track.”

Benjamin competed in five races for JGR during the 2017 NXS season. In Benjamin’s first season with JGR, he recorded poles at both Pocono Raceway and Kentucky Speedway. He recorded his best finish of second at Iowa Speedway. Benjamin’s 1.6-place average starting position ranked as the best in the NXS among drivers with multiple starts.
