Reser’s Fine Foods enters fifth season with Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) and second with driver Erik Jones, returning to the No. 20 Toyota Camry in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) as the primary sponsor for eight races this season starting this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway.
“Our partnership with JGR continues to provide a tremendous platform to engage with our retailers and consumers,” states President Mark Reser. “We can’t wait to see what Erik Jones accomplishes this season behind the wheel of our No. 20 Toyota Camry and we’ll be waiting to celebrate with him in victory lane.”
Last year, Erik Jones didn’t waste any time making big things happen for the #20 Reser’s Toyota. He cruised into victory lane with a win at Dover International Speedway where he led 76 of 120 laps and held off Darrell Wallace for the race to victory. Following his strong rookie campaign, Jones finished the season fourth in the point standings and as the 2016 Rookie of the Year with four wins, 15 top-five finishes, 20 top-10 finishes, nine pole starting positions and a total of 627 laps led.
“Bringing Reser’s back on board this year is great for myself and JGR,” said Jones. “We’ve had a great relationship over the last couple of years and I’m glad that we can continue to grow with them both on and off the track.”
Reser’s will serve as the primary sponsor at the following eight XFINITY Series races.
