JGL Racing Adds Jeb Burton to “Young Guns” Program

JGL Racing is proud to announce that Jeb Burton has joined their popular “Young Guns” program by signing a multi-race deal to pilot the No. 24 Toyota in NASCAR XFINITY Series competition.  Burton will first climb behind the wheel of the No. 24 Toyota in the April 8th event at Texas Motor Speedway.
“I’m really excited to get back behind the wheel in the XFINITY Series with JGL Racing and the No. 24 Toyota,” said Burton.  “I’m grateful for the opportunity and am looking forward to working with James (Whitener) and the whole JGL group. We’re going to work hard this season to continue building this program and get the No. 24 Toyota up front.”
The 2017 season marks the second season of regular XFINITY Series competition for Burton, who made a one race debut in the series in 2013 posting an eighth-place finish at Kentucky Speedway, while racing full time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. In 2016, Burton ran 14 Xfinity Series races earning 12 top-20 finishes and a season best 10th place finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
“We continue with the growth and development of our Young Guns program and having Jeb join us is a great addition”, added JGL Racing team owner James Whitener.  “Jeb has proven to be a great young talent in this sport and we look forward to him being behind the wheel of our No. 24 Toyota.”
Burton will also pilot the No. 24 Toyota in events at Bristol Motor Speedway (4/22), Daytona International Speedway (6/30), Kentucky Speedway (7/7), Indianapolis Motor Speedway (7/22) and Bristol Motor Speedway (8/18).  JGL Racing and Burton will continue their efforts to add additional races to this announced schedule.
Burton joins previously announced Scott Lagasse, Jr., Corey LaJoie and Drew Herring as drivers of the No. 24 Toyota for the XFINITY Series season.  Stay tuned for future sponsorship announcements in support of this program.
