Ballast Point Brewing Company to Join Biagi-DenBeste Racing at Auto Club Speedway

Biagi-DenBeste Racing will unveil a new sponsor and paint scheme this weekend at Auto Club Speedway. Ballast Point Brewing Company will be the primary sponsor of the No. 98 Ford Mustang for Saturday’s XFINITY Series race. A first-time partnership for the race team and the brewery, both are looking forward to great on-track results for the Ford.

Founded in 1996 by Jack White, Ballast Point brings the perfect balance of taste and aroma to IPAs, beers and liquors. What started as a small group of home brewers, who simply wanted to make a better beer, evolved into the adventurers known today as Ballast Point. Headquartered in San Diego, Calif., Ballast Point recently sought out a larger space to keep up with demand and settled into a 107,000 square foot brewing facility.

The TreatMyClot.com 300 will be the third outing of the 2016 season for the No. 98 Biagi-DenBeste Ford Mustang. With two Top-15 finishes to start the season, the team is looking to ride the positive momentum and compete with the XFINITY Series leaders at the front of the pack.

“We are excited to have Ballast Point come aboard the No. 98 Ford Mustang in Fontana,” said Fred Biagi, co-owner of Biagi-DenBeste Racing. “Having Ballast Point on the hood of our race car is a tremendous opportunity for our team, and we’re looking forward to showing them what a great job our guys can do on the track. Our race team has had great results this year, and we’re eager to bring our equipment to Auto Club Speedway and put our car on the top of the leaderboard.”

The XFINITY Series race will air live on FOX Sports 1 this Saturday at 4 p.m. EST.
