Trane Signs On as Primary Sponsor of the No. 19 Camry at Kentucky

Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will team up with TriStar Motorsports to serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 19 Toyota Camry, driven by Mike Bliss, for Fridaynight’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway.

Ingersoll Rand has an ongoing relationship with TriStar Motorsports, but this is the first time Trane has sponsored the No. 19 car.

“Ingersoll Rand has a legacy in the motorsports industry dating back to the inaugural NASCAR race in 1959. As a part of the Ingersoll Rand family of brands, Trane is excited to show our support for a member of the IR Racing family,” said Kevin Stamets, director of marketing at Trane Commercial. “We’ll all be cheering for Mike on Friday night and wish him good luck as he chases the checker flag.”

Bliss has 11 previous Nationwide Series starts at Kentucky Speedway, which includes one top-5 finish and three top-10 finishes. His average starting position is 15.9, with an average finishing position of 18.8. The 1.5-mile tri-oval speedway nestled in Sparta, Kentucky, will be race number two of the NASCAR triple-header this weekend in the Bluegrass State.

“I greatly appreciate Trane for standing behind my team and me at this weekend’s race,” said Bliss. “Ingersoll Rand has been a part of TriStar Motorsports and my career for two years now and I’m honored to have Trane on board.”
