Earnhardt finishes 25th at Charlotte

Jeffrey Earnhardt finished 25th in Saturday’s History 300 Nationwide Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Earnhardt qualified 29th and raced in the 20s most of the afternoon. Over the last half of the race, he improved from 29th to 25th.

“We learned some things for the next race here,” Earnhardt said. “We didn’t get the finish we wanted, but we got some good laps in and will be better next time.”

Earnhardt stayed in 15th place in Nationwide driver points.

Kyle Larson, 21, won the race, leading 82 of 200 laps.

The Nationwide Series moves on to Dover International Speedway in Delaware this weekend.
