Cassill hopes to keep rolling at CMS

Just in time for one of the spotlighted races of the Nationwide Series season, Landon Cassill is red hot.

Cassill will carry a four-race streak of top-13 finishes into Saturday’s History 300 Nationwide race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Cassill finished 10th in last week’s race at Iowa Speedway and jumped two spots in the Nationwide driver standings to 10th. He’ll try to score another top finish in Saturday’s 200-lapper.

“We’re running well right now, and we look to stay on a roll at Charlotte,” Cassill said. “This race gets a ton of exposure, and it’s just up the road from the shop, so we’re looking at putting together another good run.”

Cassill, who’ll be driving the Flex Seal Chevrolet, has plenty of experience at the 1.5-mile track. He has raced seven Sprint Cup, two Nationwide and one Camping World Truck Series race at CMS.
