Nationwide debut this weekend for Josh Reaume

23 year-old Redlands, CA native Josh Reaume will make his debut in the NASCAR Nationwide Series this Friday, driving a #23 Rick Ware Racing-owned Chevrolet with support from longtime RWR supporter Lilly Trucking.  The Virginia-based company will support Reaume as he competes at Richmond International Raceway in the TOYOTA Care 250.

Reaume’s previous experience at the .750 mile Richmond International Raceway includes a start in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, East in 2013.

“Having run a K&N Pro Series car at Richmond last year, I feel comfortable with the track and making the move up into the Nationwide Series,” Reaume said.  “I want to thank Rick Ware Racing and Lilly Trucking for this outstanding opportunity!”

Reaume will be one of two drivers making their NNS debuts over the weekend including Jimmy Weller, who ironically made his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut in 2013 at Iowa Speedway alongside Reaume as well.

The #23 entry will also carry sponsorship from Colonial Countertops, as part of a multi-race associate sponsorship program, Contractor Rush, Cry of the Outcast the book, and Pray for Your Pastor.

“We are looking forward to having Josh behind the wheel with us,”  team owner Rick Ware said. “Friday’s race will be the start of what we plan to be a long partnership between the two.  We want to thank Lilly Trucking for supporting an up-and-coming driver in his debut.”

Activities on track get underway on Thursday with practices at 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.  On Friday, qualifying will take place at 3:10 p.m. local time live on ESPN2.  With 40 cars entered for 40 starting positions, Reaume will be able to focus more on his race trim than his qualifying trim.
