Elliott Sadler and the OneMain Financial Team Focus on Green in April

OneMain Financial and NASCAR driver Elliott Sadler will support the NASCAR Green initiative in a month-long campaign to draw focus on environmental awareness. The campaign will culminate with a green paint scheme for the No.11 OneMain Financial Toyota at Richmond International Raceway (RIR).

Throughout the month, the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship contender will participate in several green initiatives, such as assisting in RIR’s tree-planting event at the end of April at a local park along the James River.

“As an avid outdoorsman, I understand the importance of taking care of our forests and the environment,” said Sadler. “I think NASCAR has done a great job in the past few years to become the sports leader for renewable energy and recycling. I’m thrilled with the opportunity to help OneMain Financial champion this cause throughout the month and beyond.”

In addition to the all green paint scheme at Richmond, OneMain Financial will announce a unique partnership later in the month to further reinforce its dedication to environmental sustainability and other green initiatives.

Fans will also have an opportunity to participate in the green initiative through the end of April via #showmeyourtrees. By submitting photos of trees they are planting, a favorite nature scene or an experience in the outdoors utilizing the #showmeyourtrees, fans will be selected throughout the month to win autographed racing gear.

“I love giving back to my loyal fans,” said Sadler. “On this occasion, it’s cool to reward those fans who are sharing the same passion that I do for the environment, and I’m proud to do it with the support of OneMain Financial.”
