Billy Boat Motorsports Drives Fans to RedFest with New Partnership in Texas

Billy Boat Motorsports (BBM) announces today a partnership with RedFest presented by Natty Light for the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) on Friday, April 4th.  NNS rookie Chad Boat is set to make his second start of the season in the No. 84 RedFest Chevrolet Camaro under the lights on the 1.5-mile track.

“I’m really excited to bring on a partner like RedFest at Texas,” said Boat.  “I’m a huge country music fan, so having the opportunity to represent a big event like this is really cool.  The Billy Boat Motorsports team has been working hard to get ready for next weekend, so I’m ready to climb in the No. 84 RedFest Chevy and go to work.”

RedFest is a three day celebration of music, comedy, reality tv, camping, hunting, fishing and loads of hands-on activities for people who work hard, play harder and love the outdoors.   Held at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, RedFest offers some of the biggest headliners in music and comedy as well as fun outdoor activities for the entire family.  RedFest is a festival for anyone who loves the outdoor lifestyle.

“We are excited to partner with Billy Boat Motorsports to support Chad Boat’s efforts on the track and invite NASCAR fans out to the inaugural year of RedFest presented by Natty Light,” stated Jeff Foxworthy, comedian, founder and grand marshal of the event.  “Music lovers, comedy fans and outdoor enthusiasts alike will love this 3-day music and comedy festival for the whole family taking place May 23rd-25th (Memorial Day weekend) at Circuit of The Americas in Austin. With a portion of ticket sales benefitting Boot Campaign, a lineup with over 30 country artists like Tim McGraw, Florida Georgia Line, and Big & Rich, plus comedians like Larry the Cable Guy and myself, I can’t think of a better way to kick off a new Memorial Day weekend tradition.”

Boat, from a legendary racing family, will be making his second career start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.  In his NNS debut this season, 21-year-old Boat ran as high as 10th before finishing on the lead lap in 24th-position at Daytona International Speedway. Boat will look to improve at TMS where his father and team owner Billy Boat drove his Indy car to Victory Lane at the same venue in 1998.

“Everyone at Billy Boat Motorsports is excited about the partnership with RedFest,” added Billy Boat, BBM team owner.  “We have all worked hard since Daytona and are eager to get to Texas next week.  Having the support of RedFest and representing the event at the track is a great opportunity.”
