Teen Country Group JETSET GETSET Partners with NASCAR’s Leavine Family Racing

Teenage country music group Jetset Getset will soon be going around in circles at about 200 mph. The Indiana-based band has been named the official music group of Leavine Family Racing (LFR), a two-car race team in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

Jetset Getset’s name will be displayed on the side of LFR’s No. 95 Ford Mustang, to be driven by Reed Sorenson on Friday, October 11 in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It is his 15th start in the series at CMS. He has a career-best finish of fifth (2005 and 2011) at Charlotte, and has an average finish of 21.4. He also has 10 starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the 1.5-mile speedway, including a fourth place finish.

“We are excited to be partnering with Leavine Family Racing,” said Kelli Jette, manager of Jetset Getset. “Not only do we love NASCAR, but LFR is a very family-oriented organization, and so are we.”

“Our race team is excited about the innovative partnership with Jetset Getset, as there is a strong connection between NASCAR and country music,” added Jeremy Lange, vice president of marketing and partnerships for LFR. “We look forward to working with the band to reach the all-important younger demographic.”

LFR and Jetset Getset are in talks about future concert performances in select NASCAR race markets, to be announced at a later date.

In addition to displaying Jetset Getset’s name, the No. 95 car will carry a special paint scheme this week at Charlotte, with a special pink-dominated makeover during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Jetset Getset was founded in 2011, and has been promoting their album “Saturday Night” (Playback Records) in concerts throughout the South, Midwest and in Southern California. Earlier this year, they were named by the Country Music Association (CMA) among “Who New to Watch in 2013.”
