2019 Track Champions to be Crowned at Richmond Gear Championship Night

With just one points race left on the schedule, you 2019 champions will be crowned this Friday night at, “The Concrete Jungle.”

Richmond Gear Championship Night at the .375-mile banked concrete oval will feature racing action with Pure 4, Highland Sign Shop Late Model, “Super Transmissions” Mod Street, Mod 4, and, Pure Street!

NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing for is scheduled for Friday, September 13th.  Pit gates will open at 2 p.m., spectator gates will open at 5 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m. Full race day schedule is attached.

“Crowning our 2019 Champions is a special night. Teams have worked all year to celebrate this moment!” said track GM, Karen Tunnell.

Along with the full schedule of racing, giveaways and other prizes will be given away. With fireworks capping off the nigh, following the last race.

Adult grandstand admission Friday $12, with kids 12-and-under admitted FREE. Adult tier-parking admission $12 per person (plus a $12 vehicle parking spot fee), with kids 12-and-under admitted free.

 We would like to welcome our friends from Food City to Championship Night! We would like to invite Food City associates and their families to attend this Friday. If you would like to attend, simply present your name badge at the entrance. You and your family will be admitted FREE!

  • An open practice is scheduled for Thursday September 12th, from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and FREE for fans to come watch.
  • This is the last points race, but the Southeast Super Truck Series will invade Kingsport Speedway Saturday, September 21st. Support Classes TBA
