$5 Grandstand Admission Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday, May 26) At Volunteer Speedway

We all know freedom isn’t free! All gave some, some gave all – paying the ultimate sacrifice with their life while protecting our country’s freedoms.

The Memorial Day holiday weekend is the traditional kick-off into summer. But more importantly, it’s a time we all stop and pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who lost their lives or are missing in action from defending our country.

An exciting six division Championship Points Racing program is scheduled Saturday, May 26 at Volunteer Speedway and promoter Mitch McCarter is offering a FANtastic $5 adult grandstand admission. There will also be prize giveaways throughout the night.

Steel Head Late Model, Crate Late Model, Sportsman Late Model, Modified Street, Classic and 602 Street Stock will be in action on the high banks.

Adult grandstand admission $5, kids age 12-and-under admitted free in the grandstands (when accompanied by an adult). … Adult pit and tier-parking admission $25, kids age 12-and-under $15.

Grandstand, pit and tier-parking gates open at 4 p.m. … Meet ‘n’ greet with drivers’ is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., with drivers’ meeting at 7 p.m., to immediately be followed by hot laps, qualifying and feature racing at “The Gap.”

Coming up on Saturday, June 2 the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series will be making an appearance at Volunteer Speedway for a $10,000-to-win main event, with many of the top dirt late model drivers in the country expected. There will also be Crate Late Model, Modified Street and Classic racing.
