Texas Motor Speedway Announces Departmental Restructuring and Promotions In Marketing, Events and Sales

Texas Motor Speedway has undergone a restructuring of its marketing, events and sales departments that was highlighted by several personnel promotions.
 
The speedway has combined the Events and Marketing departments under one umbrella that will be known as the Event Services Department. Both departments were previously under and will remain under the guidance and leadership of Assistant General Manager / Vice President of Event Services 
Kenton Nelson.
 
In Event Services, Ellen Stallcup was promoted from Advertising Event Manager to Director of Advertising and Event Services while Ronnie Platt moves from Marketing Coordinator to Manager of Event Services.
 
The Sales Department, under the leadership of Vice President of Sales Jason Wonderly, was restructured to create a more efficient and strategic resource for the speedway’s sponsorship partners. The move will allow the Sales Department to manage partner relationships in a more proactive fashion and help ensure healthy and sustainable programs in the future.
 
The Sales Department restructuring and promotions consist of the following:
  • Michelle Armbruster – Senior Manager, Client Services (new role). She will supervise the team of Account Managers and be the primary point of contact for all partners. Armbruster will work proactively with partners to help maximize ROI and event execution while understanding their goals, needs and objectives; oversee the on-boarding process of all new partners; streamline business operations on behalf of the speedway partners; serve as the sales liaison for the Event Services Department; and utilize her expertise in strategic sports and entertainment activation strategies. 
  • Kelsee Vandiver – Account Manager, FanZone & New Business Coordinator. She will serve as the day-to-day point of contact for a select group of sponsor partners. Vandiver will manage the operations and serve as the main point of contact for the speedway’s FanZone and its affiliated partners; help drive ROI for partners and execute against the contractual obligations; develop and lead the effort for creating promotional sales materials and presentations on behalf of the sales team; and support the new business ideation process.
  • Brenna Haussman – Account Manager, Suite Services & Hospitality. She also will serve as the day-to-day point of contact for a select group of sponsor partners. Haussman will manage the operations and serve as the main point of contact for all suite and Burnout Alley RV customers; support special events and client-related, on-site activities; and be the direct point of contact for the local Levy Restaurants partnership.
  • Fredella Malone – Sales Assistant & Administrative Support. She will support the sales and service team in various capacities; front desk responsibilities; pre- and post-event support and reporting.
The 2018 racing season at Texas Motor Speedway kicks off April 6-8 with the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 NASCAR doubleheader. The weekend features the XFINITY Series My Bariatric Solutions 300 on Saturday, April 7 and the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 on Sunday, April 8.
