High Heel Dash Returns to LiftMaster Pole Night

High heels will lead to high-speed thrills on Thursday at Charlotte Motor Speedway, when the better halves of NASCAR drivers and crew members race down pit road in stilettos in the third annual MRO High Heel Dash at 7 p.m. during LiftMaster Pole Night.

The MRO High Heel Dash will include 12 wives and girlfriends of NASCAR drivers and team members, who will race down pit road in their high heels to raise money for and bring awareness to Motor Racing Outreach.

Among the runners expected to participate are:

  • Tina Bullins – Wife of Jeremy Bullins, Crew Chief for Wood Brothers Racing
  • Marisa Erspamer – Wife of Jared Erspamer, Rear Tire Carrier for Hendrick Motorsports
  • Amanda Fischbeck – Wife of Ben Fischbeck, Rear Tire Carrier for Joe Gibbs Racing
  • Kara Flucht – Girlfriend of Eric Hill, Mechanic for AM Racing
  • Brittany Johnson – Fiancé of Josh Chaney, Rear Tire Carrier for Team Penske
  • Jenny Kelly – Girlfriend of Jacob Ray, Tire Changer for Brad Keselowski Racing
  • Shannon Koch, Wife of Blake Koch, NASCAR XFINITY Series driver
  • Erica Mayo – Wife of David Mayo, Tire Changer for JGR and Furniture Row Racing
  • Jessica Nichols – Wife of David Nichols, Tire Specialist for Team Penske
  • Dawn Roniger – Wife of Shane Church, Mechanic for Stewart-Haas Racing
  • Ashley Sweet – Girlfriend of Dave Elenz, Crew Chief for JR Motorsports
  • Wendy Venturini – Wife of Jarrad Egert, Toyota Racing Development

Fans can go to the MRO High Heel Dash website and donate to the participant of their choice. The runner who raises the most money will be allowed to select their starting lane for the dash.

The runners are to wear a minimum of three-inch high heels and cannot take their shoes off at any time during the 50-yard dash down pit road. The winner will receive a trophy in Victory Lane.
