Bret Michaels to Headline NASCAR Pre-Race Concert on July 19

It’s going to be “Nothing but a Good Time” at New Hampshire Motor Speedway when Bret Michaels hits the concert stage prior to the New Hampshire 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on July 19. Speedway officials announced today that the multi-platinum global superstar will play in front of a sea of fans on the Magic Mile frontstretch.

Michaels, who is best known as the front man of Poison, winning the most viewed season of Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2010, and starring on the multi-season reality TV show Rock of Love, will visit New Hampshire as part of his True Grit Tour. Michaels will take the stage at 10:45 a.m., prior to driver introductions. The free concert is included for all fans that have purchased a ticket to the New Hampshire 301, which will drop the green flag at 1:30 p.m. Stage-front access on the Magic Mile frontstretch will be available with the purchase of a pre-race pit pass.

“I can’t wait to hang out with all the awesome NASCAR fans, like me, at the pre-race super-concert and mega-party at New Hampshire Motor Speedway,” said Michaels. “We’re ready to have a great time, rock out and then watch an awesome race after. It’s going to be a good time.”

Michaels’s popular hits include “Every Rose”, “Nothin’ but a Good Time”, “Something to Believe In” and “A Beautiful Soul”, which was released in 2014. This April, Michaels released his newest single, “Girls On Bars”.

Michaels has turned his passion for music into a multi-faceted brand that encompasses record-breaking touring sales, reality TV stardom, legendary songs that have sold over 32 million records, product endorsements as well as being a devoted philanthropist, all supported and followed by three generations of loyal fans.

Michaels was born in the small town of Butler, Pa. Rising to fame as the front man of Poison, one of rock’s most iconic and enduring bands, he helped define the rock-n-roll scene.

When Michaels isn’t touring, he can be found both in front of and behind the camera as a director, producer and a reality TV superstar. His first foray into reality TV brought the record-breaking “Rock of Love with Bret Michaels” franchise to VH1, one of the most successful shows in the network’s history, shattering weekly rating records during its run. Following three successful seasons of the show, he teamed up with VH1 for the docu-series “Life As I Know It”, setting even more records.

Michaels, personally and through his Life Rocks Foundation, has helped raise tens of millions of dollars for charity and makes donations to not only diabetes awareness and research but to such causes as childhood cancer, wounded warriors, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, PetSmart Charities and more. Having been diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of 6, Michaels is passionately devoted to raise awareness of the debilitating disease in hopes of finding a cure.
