Fans will also enjoy the Legends Choose, where each driver chooses either the inside lane or the outside lane in turn three while lining up for the restart. The inside is the preferred line, but drivers further toward the rear of the field can gain track position by choosing the riskier outside lane. Officials will also utilize a random draw to invert up to the top six positions in the starting field of each feature race. In addition, the points system has been simplified to put more emphasis on winning races.
