Phoenix International Raceway announced today that tickets for the final race of its 50th Anniversary season, the Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500 NASCAR race weekend will go on-sale May 30. Tickets for NASCAR’s semifinal race weekend start at just $25 and can be purchased by visiting PhoenixRaceway.com or by calling 866-408-RACE (7223).
The popular fall weekend at PIR historically sells out and features a full weekend of NASCAR action, including from the semifinal races in each of NASCAR’s top three series, headlined by the Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, Nov. 9.
The event weekend also features the NASCAR Nationwide Series 200 race on Saturday, Nov. 8 and the Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday, Nov. 7. The weekend of racing kicks off with the Casino Arizona 100 – the championship race in the K&N Pro Series-West – on Thursday, Nov. 6.
Race fans can take advantage of PIR’s ‘Value Pricing’ period through July 7 and receive a $5 discount off of the face value of most seats by purchasing their tickets for the races during the Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500 event weekend early. Beginning July 8, ticket prices will return to regular pricing, with event week pricing going into effect on Monday, Nov. 4.
Under the new Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup format, PIR is the last eliminator race and will determine the final four drivers that will fight for the championship the following weekend. The action-packed race will begin at 1 p.m. MST on Nov. 9, with television coverage provided by ESPN and radio coverage by Motor Racing Network.
