Competition Heats Up For Rev Racing at Dover

Competition will heat up for Rev Racing Rookies, Kyle Larson and Bryan Ortiz, on Friday in the American Real TV 150 at Dover International Speedway.

Following his win in last Saturday’s G-Oil 100, at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Larson heads to the Monster Mile just three points out of the championship lead, the closest he’s been to the top of the K&N Pro Series East points standings this season.

Competing for Rev Racing as part of NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity initiative, Larson hopes to continue the No. 6 team’s past success at Dover this season while racing his way ahead of current series points leader, Brett Moffitt.

“I’m really looking forward to racing in Dover,” said Larson.  “We will be taking the car that went to Victory Lane last season and I am hoping to continue this streak for the No. 6 Toyota Rev Racing team in Friday’s race, while continuing to inch closer to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East points championship.”

Following-up on an impressive top-10 finish in last weekend’s G-Oil 100, which has him sitting just 45 points out of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East points lead, teammate, Bryan Ortiz, hopes to continue his climb to success at the Monster Mile.

“Dover International Speedway is one of the best tracks in NASCAR and I can’t wait to race there,” said Ortiz.  “After seeing what my No. 4 Puerto Rico Does It Better Toyota could do last weekend at New Hampshire I can’t wait to get it back on track this weekend.”
