Harrison Rhodes, New Hampshire K&N Preview

19 year old Harrison Rhodes will make his 4th career NASCAR K&N Pro Series start this weekend at the“Magic Mile” in Loudon, New Hampshire. Earlier this season driving for MacDonald Motorsports, Rhodes drove a very impressive race to bring home an 8th place finish for the team at CNB Bank Raceway Park in Pennsylvania.

“I am very excited to be back in the MacDonald Motorsports K&N car this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway,”explained Rhodes. “I believe we are going to have a great car and hopefully a great finish as well.”

Young Harrison Rhodes has had a very impressive career up to this point. Rhodes started racing Legends cars for Dan Snyder Racing in 2007, recording four wins and finishing seventh in the Summer Shootout points standings. The following season, Rhodes went on a tear, winning 33 races and the Concord Speedway Track Championship, as well as the North Carolina State Championship. Over the past few years, Harrison has run in the NASCAR Whelen All American Series, the CARS Pro Cup Series, and select PASS South Series races. In June of this year, Rhodes made his first start in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, recording a solid fourth place finish at Bowman Gray Stadium.

“Harrison did a great job for us in his Chick Fil-a No. 49 earlier this season in Pennsylvania,” explained team owner Jeni MacDonald. “He had a top-5 run going but was still able to give us our best finish of the year thus far with an 8th. This being our second race together as a team, I think we will be even stronger this time out.”

Fans in the area for the Sprint Cup Series race this weekend can watch young Harrison Rhodes race the Chick-fil-a No. 49 at the “Magic Mile” this Saturday. The G-Oil 100 will take the green flag at approximately 2:30PM EST.
