Akinori Ogata, New Hampshire K&N Preview

Akinori Ogata will make his 4thcareer start in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East this Saturday at New Hampshire International Speedway. The G-Oil 100 will be arguably the biggest race of the season for the K&N Pro Series, running 100 laps on the “Magic Mile” in Loudon, NH.

“I am really happy to be back driving the ENEOS No. 49 for MacDonald Motorsports this weekend in New Hampshire,” explained Akinori. “This will be the biggest track that I have ran on thus far in my career so it will be a learning experience this weekend. I really have to thank ENEOS Motor Oil, Kajima, and Kubota for all of their support this season. I couldn’t do this without them.”

Ogata’s best finish this season in his three races has been a 15th place run at Gresham Motorsports Park in June. Another top-15 this weekend at New Hampshire would be a great result for Akinori and his ENEOS Motor Oil No. 49 team.

“I love working with Akinori and I’m happy to see him back racing for us this weekend in New Hampshire,” stated Jeni MacDonald, team owner. “It will be a lot of work this weekend running two cars but I know the guys will do whatever it takes to get us to the track and to be competitive.”
