Jackson Ready for NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in Loudon

This coming Saturday, Ireland’s Ali Jackson will return to the seat of his #73 Celtic Waste Dodge Charger of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East for the G-Oil 100 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.  The Northeast event will mark Jackson’s third start of 2012 in the series all with Creation-Cope Racing out of North Carolina. The former Firestone Indy Lights and British Formula Three driver has done quite well adjusting the American oval track racing.  Thus far the Irish star has an impressive average finish of 14.5 in the highly competitive Pro Series East division and as the leaves began to turn and air gets colder in Loudon, New Hampshire, the Belfast native looks to show his true ability, heart, determination and the luck of the Irish to the rest of the field.

“I’m really looking forward to this weekend’s race at Loudon” Jackson stated.  “It has certainly been a long time coming since the last race was rained out.  Being able to race on a bigger track with the talented competition of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East is going to not only progress me through my certification process with NASCAR but will allow me to hone in on my talents moving forward.  I’ve been putting a great deal of work in on the simulator as well as training at the Crossfit Huntersville Gym so I can’t wait to get on track!”

The festivities at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway will begin on Friday, September 21st with practice sessions.  Qualifying will be held at about 2:00PM ET on Friday, with green flag expected to drop around 2:30PM ET on Saturday, September 22nd.  Coverage of the race will be aired on SPEED, September 27th at 3:00PM ET.  Come on down Saturday afternoon as Jackson gets behind the wheel of his #73 Creation Cope Racing Celtic Waste Dodge Charger.
