ARCA: Points Battle Hot Entering Kansas Finale

The ARCA Menards Series strolls into Kansas Speedway for the season-finale event at the 1.5-mile oval. A total of 22 cars are scheduled to participate in the championship deciding event on Friday.

The entry list for the 100-lap, 150-mile race features Drew Dollar, Christian Eckes, Riley Herbst, Harrison Burton, Ty Majeski, Bret Holmes, Michael Self, Sheldon Creed, Gus Dean, Hailie Deegan and Joe Graf Jr.

Two drivers enter the weekend with a shot at winning the 2019 ARCA Menards Series championship. Christian Eckes and Michael Self enter the weekend separated by 15 points in the championship standings, which means fans will see a close point battle to decide the series title.

The championship could be decided by two-three positions or end in a tie. If Self and Eckes tie in points, the title will then be decided by wins in 2019, which Eckes has three while Self has four.

Bret Holmes enters the weekend third in points and is looking to score his first career ARCA Menards Series victory. Holmes, through 19 starts this year in the No. 23 Chevrolet, has seven top five and 17 top 10 finishes. The Alabama driver tied his season-best finish of third three times.

Travis Braden and Joe Graf Jr. round out the top five in points entering Kansas. Braden holds two top five finishes along with 15 top 10s while Graf Jr. has one top five at Chicagoland Speedway and 12 top 10s.

The championship deciding event will air live on MAVTV and NASCAR.com at 8:30 p.m. ET. The event was originally scheduled for FOX Sports 2.
