Solaris Motorsport lands in Belgium for the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series Finals

The Circuit Zolder is ready to host this weekend the 2019 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series Finals. More than 25.000 fans filled the historic Belgian track last year and, as the same as last season, it will be the last weekend of the year, giving double points chance to all the drivers in each of the four races. Everything can still happen, an opportunity that Solaris Motorsport drivers aims to take the maximum advantage.

“I’m really excited for Zolder. It’s the last round of the season and I want to capitalize on that and make it my best finishes of the year. I want for us as a team to be successful here to show to everyone what we are worth and to reward them for all the hard work they have put in this season. It’s been my debut season and it’s been the best year of my career.” said Naveh Talor. “Zolder is a tough old school circuit but I will conquer it happily. The whole year I’ve missed the SuperPole by few tenths so I would love to finally get in it. I will focus on doing my best for the weekend. I hope to have good luck with no problems and to be able to finish on a high for this season!”

“I knew Zolder since the Superstars era and I was immediately fall in love: it’s tight, insidious and fast. Very old school, there are still the grass and the sand outside the white lane! Something totally disappeared in Europe, unfortunately. Each mistake here will cost lot of time, details will make the difference. It’s on these kind of track that a driver can still show his value,” commented Francesco Sini. that in Belgium was so close to the Top5 in 2018. “Last year we were so fast, we could have aimed to the first five positions but due a contact we weren’t able to do it. We hope to restart from that performance and close the season with a good placement, I want to say thank you to all the guys of team and all our fans that never stopped to support us!”

The Euro NASCAR Zolder Finals will kick off officially on Friday with the four free practice sessions. The qualifying is attended on Saturday morning at 10 AM, while the ELITE 1 Race will start at 1:45 PM and the ELITE 2 Race 1 at 5:05 PM.
