Gallagher Returns to NTT IndyCar Series with Carlin and Max Chilton for 2019 Season

Gallagher, a leading global insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services firm, is proud to announce that they will renew their motorsports partnership with Carlin for the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season with Max Chilton behind the wheel of the No. 59 Gallagher Chevrolet.

“We are pleased to renew our relationship with Carlin for the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season. After a successful first season with Carlin and Max Chilton, we will continue to leverage this partnership to further increase awareness of our company to a global audience and deepen our relationships with clients and prospects,” said Christopher E. Mead, Gallagher Chief Marketing Officer. “Carlin shares Gallagher’s principles of teamwork, innovation and excellence.  Both of our teams strive to succeed on the racetrack and in the office, and we’re both dedicated to mitigating risks and creating solutions. We wish Carlin a very successful year.”

Chilton will return for his fourth season in the NTT IndyCar Series with partner Gallagher. Chilton and Gallagher made their INDYCAR debut together in 2016 and have since recorded 50 starts, eight top-10 finishes, 76 laps led and an impressive fourth-place finish at the 2017 101st running of the Indianapolis 500.

“I couldn’t be happier to formally announce that Gallagher will be back for the 2019 season partnering with myself and Carlin. Gallagher and Carlin are like family to me and I’m excited to see what we can do together building on both partnerships,” said Chilton. “Our first year together as an INDYCAR team had its ups and downs, but the potential and growth that we showed as a team was obvious to everyone. I want to say a massive thank you to Gallagher for their continuing support of me. To have the opportunity to represent the nearly 30,000 employees of Gallagher, a brand that focuses so heavily on teamwork and innovation, is a true privilege.”

Chilton’s partnership with Carlin renews a successful relationship that goes back throughout the British racer’s career. Chilton won races with Carlin in Formula Three and Formula Two (formerly GP2 Series) before racing in the FIA Formula One World Championship from 2013 – 2014. In 2015, Chilton explored racing in the United States for the first time with a season of Indy Lights with Carlin, as well as a run with a manufacturer LMP1 program at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.

“Our first year in the series was a great learning experience for the whole team and we’re thrilled that Gallagher is back on board for our second year. Gallagher started this journey with us and we’re just so thankful that they share our passion for success and really believe in both us as a team and Max’s ability to represent their brand,” said Team Principal Trevor Carlin. “We’re confident that our second season in the series will be even better than the first and we’ll be able to push our partnership to the next level.”
