The year 2018 begins promisingly for Raphaël Lessard, member of the TRD – Toyota driver development program, who will be competing in his first race of the season this Saturday, January 27 in Cordele, Georgia, as a new member of the Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) team and as part of the ARCA/CRA Super Series Speedfest 200 2018.
The young driver, whose talent and motivation are well established, is clearly aiming for a win at the wheel of his FRL Express/Mobil 1/Toyota Camry #51 and with the help and advice of his crew chief, Cody Glick. The trust from KBM, one of the largest organizations in the industry and whose mandate is to develop Nascar’s future talents, confirms the skill and potential of this exceptional driver. New team, new car, new exploits!
Saturday’s 200-lap race will take place on Crisp Motorsports Park’s Watermelon Capital Speedway, a D-shaped oval asphalt track that boasts some of the fastest speeds in this southern state.
