NASCAR Drive for Diversity Drivers Head to Berlin Raceway for the First Time

After a four-week season break in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (KNPSE), Rev Racing drivers and crew members are ready to get back to the track. For the first time in Rev Racing history, the team will travel to the newly NASCAR-sanctioned Berlin Raceway for the Stars & Stripes 150.

Although Berlin will be a new experience for NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity team members, they will be able to rely upon the unique insights of Glenn Parker, Car Chief of the No. 2 UTI/NTI Toyota. Parker, a Sparta, Michigan local, spent time racing at this track running in the Vintage Modified Series. Rev Racing hopes that his past track experience will not only improve the drivers’ on-track experience, but also continue pushing our drivers to finish on top. With all drivers currently sitting in the top 10 in points, the team is eager to take the green flag.

Rubén García Jr. (No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Toyota): García, who is currently leading team Rev Racing in points, will head into the weekend in 4th place. García currently has two top-5s and four top-10s in the 2017 KNPSE season.

Chase Cabre (No. 4 Lincoln Welders Toyota):  Chase Cabre is currently 7th in points after a 2nd place finish at Memphis International Raceway, and is looking to break into the top 5 in the back half of the season. Cabre has already received one SUNOCO Rookie of the Race Award at Memphis and is an excellent candidate for winning the Rookie of the Year Award.

Jay Beasley (No. 42 Castle Packs Power Toyota): Beasley is sitting 8th in points after a top-5 finish at Memphis, and is looking for a solid finish at Berlin.  Beasley will pilot the Castle Packs Power Toyota for the first time this season on the .438 mile oval.

Collin Cabre (No. 2 UTI/NTI Toyota): Cabre, who is currently 10th in point standings, is more than ready to hit the track and turn a top-5 finish. After a 7th place finish in Memphis, he and his crew are focused on a qualifying result that will put him in the front of the pack.

Group qualifying for the Stars & Stripes 150 begins at 3:45 pm on Saturday. The autograph session will take place from 5:30 – 6:10 pm, followed by the race start at 9:00 pm EST.
