CRA Late Model Standout Quinnton Bear Set for ARCA Debut at the Berlin Raceway with Mason Mitchell Motorsports

2015 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Howie Lettow Memorial Rookie of the Year Quinnton Bear will make his ARCA Racing Series debut Saturday evening at the Berlin Raceway. Bear will race for 2014 ARCA championship team Mason Mitchell Motorsports (MMM) driving the Karl Chevrolet No. 98.

“Every driver hopes for getting that one opportunity to shine and show what he is capable of doing behind the wheel” Bear explained. “Not only am I getting the opportunity to drive in ARCA but to drive with a well prepared team that knows how to get to victory lane.

“Berlin is a very finicky track. Hitting your marks every lap is difficult along with saving tires at Berlin is more challenging. “It’s fun because it is so challenging from a driver’s standpoint and your able to race side-by-side with drivers without making contact.”

I’ve Never raced on a radial tire and word is they fall of a lot faster. So I need to be smooth behind the wheel and save the tires for long runs and keep all the fenders on it because this place loves downforce as well.”

While Bear will be making his ARCA debut he has three prior starts at the .438-mile track located in Marne, Michigan. In his three stars Bear’s earned one top-five and two top-ten’s with a best finish of third last August. Impressively in his three starts he has an average starting spot of 3.6.

In his rookie season racing with the JEGS/CRA All Star Tour the 20-year-old earned six top-five’s along with seven top-ten finishes with a best finish of second in 11 starts en route to finishing runner-up in the championship.

Chassis Information: Bear will be behind the wheel of chassis No. 593 out of the MMM stable. The chassis has ten starts most recently racing last week at the Pocono Raceway. The chassis has one win (Chicago 2014), four top-five’s and seven top-10 finishes.
