ASA Weekend Results for October 14-16, 2011

It was another great weekend for ASA Racing.  The ASA Truck Series had a first time winner, The ASA Midwest Tour and ASA Midwest Truck Tour were in action at Oktoberfest, and many ASA Member Tracks were in action.

Here are the results from this past weekend.

ASA MEMBER TRACKS

DESOTO SUPER SPEEDWAY (Bradenton, FL)

Jeff Scofield muscled his way to the lead passing Tim Russell after the last caution to win the Seafest 100 event for the Florida United Promoters Late Model Series.  Jessie Dutilly was third with Bobby Good in fourth.  Steve Dorer rounded out the top-five.  Several other divisions were in action and results will be available on the track’s website.

EAST BAY RACEWAY PARK (Tampa, FL)

Roger Crouse made it two in a row this past Saturday night with his win in the Late Model division.  Scotty Williams got by Forrest Gough to win the Limited Late Model feature.  Jeff Rodgers won his eighth feature of the season in the Street Stocks. Kyle Kruse held off Shirlene Hammond to win the Outlaw 4 main event and Raymond Vann won the 4 Cylinder Bomber main event.

LONESOME PINE RACEWAY (Coeburn, VA)

LPR hosted their season finale this past Saturday night.  Brian Blevins won in the Late Models.  Duke Bare took the checkers in the Street Stocks.  Kirby Gobble was the big winner in the Chargers. John Ketron won in the Pure 4’s.  Tyler Goodwin captured the win in the Legends.  Bryan Herraney held off Iggy Greer for the Renegades win.  Jeremy Hughes won in the Rookie Pure 4’s and Pam Stiltner won in the Powder Puffs.

Congratulations to the 2011 LPR track champions: Brian Blevins- Late Models, Ryan Stiltner – Chargers, Hayden Woods – Legends, Hershel Robinette – Mod 4’s, Roger Neece – Street Stocks, and Mike Breeding – Renegades.

MERIDIAN SPEEDWAY (Meridian, ID)                                                                     

Art Heath won the The Smoke Steam and Cash Enduro this past Saturday night. 50 cars started the 250-lap event. Work Force held off I P Freely to win the Thunder Dogs main event.  The Catfish team won the 2011 championship.
