Palm Beach International Raceway™ (PBIR) hosts Ford and Mopar fans of all ages during a special weekend of motorsports in September. Celebrating Mustang’s 50th Birthday, Fun Ford Weekend kicks off on September 12, 2014, while Mega Mopar Action on the Drag Strip returns on September 14, 2014.
From Ford-powered and Ford-bodied bracket racers looking to earn some “cred” on the Drag Strip to Blue Oval restoration experts showing off their finished masterpiece or searching for that hard-to-find part at the Swap Meet, Fun Ford Weekend at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida has something for everyone.
On Saturday, September 13, from 8 am to 7 pm, Fun Ford Weekend presented by R.J.S. Racing Equipment features family-friendly entertainment and activities including:

- Mustang Triathlon on the Road Course and Drag Strip

Mopar fans are invited to celebrate everything that makes Mopar stand out in a crowd with Mopar Action magazine at the Mega Mopar Action event at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida. There’s something for all Pentastar enthusiasts, like watching HEMI-powered American muscle on the Drag Strip and admiring cars like Challengers, Javelins, Barracudas and Road Runners in the Car Show. Mega Mopar Action Series is the largest national series honoring the iconic brand.
On Sunday, September 14, from 8 am to 7 pm, the Mega Mopar Action event includes:

“While the iconic Ford Mustang celebrates its 50th birthday in 2014, we’re also turning 50 this year. Palm Beach International Raceway was founded in 1964, and we’re honored to share this milestone with America’s legendary pony car,” noted PBIR’s Vice President and General Manager Dale Gann.
At the gate on the event days, tickets are $20 for a 1-day adult spectator admission on Saturday or Sunday. Tickets for a 2-day adult spectator, including both Saturday and Sunday, are $35. Tickets for children ages 6 to 12 are $5 per event day, while children ages 5 and under enter free. Parking at the facility is free for all racers and spectators. The weekend kicks off with Test & Tune on the Drag Strip on September 12, 2014. Test & Tune is an open track session for any make and model car, truck, dragster or motorcycle, during which racers can speed down the track for just $20. Gates open at 6 pm while racing continues until 11 pm. Spectator tickets are just $10 for adults; children 12 and younger enter free. Parking at the track is also free throughout the weekend.
