Officials at Hylton Motorsports have announced Kenny Mathews will make his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards debut in the upcoming Herr’s Live Life with Flavor 200 at Madison Int’l Speedway.
Mathews, 24, will be driving for a cause in the No. 48 Ford Fusion. Teaming up with Mathews is the Epilepsy Foundation, who has a special connection with the Ypsilanti, MI driver. Mathews was diagnosed with Epilepsy at a young age, but overcame the disease and was seizure free by age 15.
Driving James Hylton’s Ford Fusion, Mathews, will have a tremendous amount of advice from the veteran ARCA and NASCAR Cup driver. Hylton is a two-time winner in the NASCAR Cup Series, finishing second in points three times. Since then, he has competed in the ARCA Racing Series for several years and is now retired as a driver, but continues his participation within the series as a successful car owner.
