Twin Late Model Races, Fireworks Set for Saturday Night

When the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stocks return to Southern National Motorsports Park this Saturdaynight, the points battle between Tommy Lemons Jr., Lee Pulliam and Myatt Snider will be as tight as it’s been all season.

On the heels of a disappointing 12th place finish in the second-half of his twin-75 lap race on June 7, Lemons will come into Saturday night’s action just 22 points ahead of the two-time NASCAR Whelen All-American Series National Champion Lee Pulliam, and 28 points ahead of SNMP rookie Myatt Snider.  Pulliam will be entering the night on the heels of a sweep in the Father’s Day 370, while Snider scored two top-fives.

In Limited Late Models, Haley Moody holds onto a 22 point lead over Dillon Spain, while Travis Greene also sits within shouting distance.

Saturday night’s action will see twin-75 lap Late Model Stock races, with Limiteds, Chargers, Street Stocks, Ultimate Body Shop UCARs, Legends and Bandoleros all on the track as well.  After all the fireworks on the track conclude, there will be fireworks in the sky, as SNMP holds its annual Independence Day fireworks show!
