Little brings new sponsor to this week’s Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150

This weekend’s Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 at Greenville Pickens Speedway has Jesse Little returning to a familiar short track on the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East with a new sponsor onboard.

Mac’s Speed Shop Restaurant, a local restaurant located at 930 S Main St. in Greenville, http://www.macspeedshop.com/  will adorn Little’s No. 97 Chevrolet during both series events to be held this season at Greenville-Pickens.

“We’re excited to bring our partnership with Jesse to this weekend’s race. At Mac’s we like all things that go fast- cars, motorcycles, BBQ and beer, said Mac’s Speed Shop Restaurant partner, Hall Johnston.

“He’s an amazing talent with a solid team behind him. Our employees are equally talented at delivering great food and service to our customers here in the Greenville area. The exposure for our business during this partnership will be a great experience for our ownership, employees and those who patronize Mac’s Speed Shop Restaurant,” he added.

“Mac’s Speed Shop Restaurant is a local favorite for us and to have them as part of our Greenville-Pickens races will be great,” Little said. “Our Team Little Racing crew, fans and fellow competitors are going to be hearing a lot about them this weekend.”

Success this weekend will hinge on a solid handling package and brakes underneath Little’s Chevrolet, he noted.

“To get around Greenville-Pickens really asks a lot from the race car and driver when it comes to entering, rolling the center, and exiting off the corner,” Little said.

Greenville-Pickens is the sight of Little’s best career finish on the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, something he will key on this weekend, he added.

“When you go into a race track that as a driver and team success has been had, that really helps with your confidence. I’ve spent a lot of time racing at Greenville so it’s one of my favorite short tracks. I’m looking forward to chasing the victory on Saturday night and adding to our great runs on this half-mile.”
