Impact Plus Donating Roush Yates Duffel Bags To Charities Throughout The Home Of NASCAR

Impact Plus Promotional Products, in conjunction with Roush Yates, will be donating over 150 new sport duffel bags to “Room In The Inn” for Christmas and to the Cornelius Police Department.

“Room In The Inn” is a faith-based charity program that offers assistance to those in need by providing a place to sleep, laundry facility, new clothes and toiletries. Families needing assistance will be able to use the bags to carry their items.

The Cornelius Police Department, just south of Race City USA, would like to have these bags available at a moment’s notice, stocked with daily necessities to help victims of domestic violence.

“We want to be able to reassure them that everything is going to be okay,” said Officer George Brinzey, a sergeant with the Cornelius Police Department. “The program will be funded by local businesses and we can say it started with the help of Impact Plus and Roush Yates.”

The sport duffel bags, decorated with the Roush Yates logo, will be distributed throughout the home of NASCAR. The Charlotte-metro area serves as the headquarters for most NASCAR race teams and is home to the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

“Our commitment and responsibility to the Charlotte community is to help others in need,” said Steve Stetsky, President of Impact Plus. “Whenever we are able to provide for others, we think it’s the right thing to do.”

Last December, Impact Plus Uniforms donated more than $4,000 in winter jackets to a local Charlotte charity so that families could stay warm during the holiday season. In April, Impact Plus Uniforms donated more than $2,000 in new business attire to the Men’s Shelter of Charlotte.

During the Democratic National Convention, Impact Plus Promotional worked with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department to provide more than 6,000 backpacks for officers working security in uptown Charlotte.
