ARCA: Kansas Race Preview

This weekend the ARCA Racing Series will hit the track for the 13th Annual Kansas Lottery 98.9 The Rock. The entry list currently features a total of 33 unique race car drivers. Alex Bowman is the defending race winner after scoring back-to-back wins in 2011 and 2012.

The many drivers this weekend include Brad Smith, John Wes Townley, Corey LaJoie, Tom Berte, Scott Lagassi, Jr., Darrell Basham, Mark Meuier, Dylan Kwasniewski, Mark Thompson, Chris Bailey, Bobby Grewohl, Justin Allison, Steven Mathews, Josh Williams, Zach Ralston.

John Wes Townley won the ARCA Racing Series race at Daytona earlier this season will try to close out the season with a bang. Townley has four starts this season in ARCA and has only finished once in the top-10. He will be one of the strongest drivers to watch tomorrow night at the Kansas Speedway.

The Rookie of the Year battle is really tight coming into Kansas this weekend between Justin Boston and Mason Mingus. Boston leads the standings by just six points over Mason.

Justin Allison will make his ARCA Racing Series debut tomorrow night in the No. 88 HAVACOSALES.com Ford. Allison is from Salisbury, N.C. and he will be making his first professional Motorsports start this weekend.

Spencer Gallagher will be sporting a pink car supporting Breast Cancer Awareness around the Kansas Speedway tomorrow night. Spencer is excited about coming to Kansas Speedway where he felt like they had a great car during testing.
