After taking a month off from racing action, Garrett Marchant driver of the No. 77 Lone Star Car Transportation Chevy, will get back behind the wheel this week at Caraway Speedway. This week’s race will mark Marchant’s return to the South East Limited Late Models series, where Marchant plans on contending for the series’ championship in 2013.

This trip to Caraway Speedway will be Marchant’s first time at the track, but that doesn’t mean he is not prepared for the race. With 21st Century technology Marchant has been busy the past month gearing up just for this race.

“I am really excited to get back in the seat of the No. 77 @WalgreensCVAZ Chevy!” Marchant notes about racing at Caraway Speedway. “It will be my first Limited Late Model start of the year and I can’t wait to go after the South East Limited Late Model Series championship. I have been looking at video footage of Caraway as well as racing some on iRacing. Practice on Tuesday is going to be key for our team and I can’t thank them enough for their hard work on preparing the car!”

Due to scheduling conflicts, updates from the track on Wednesday will not be as often, especially during the race. The No. 77 AFG Home Improvements / Kim’s Sweet Sensations team will try their best to provide updates when available. A race recap will be posted on Thursday, and we would like to wish every a happy and safe Independence Day!
