MB Motorsports returns to Chicagoland

MB Motorsports driver Justin Jennings will once again be behind the wheel of the #63 Mittler Brothers Machine & Tool / LG SEEDS Chevy Silverado at Chicagoland Speedway. “I really like racing at Chicagoland,” says Jennings. “Even though in some ways it’s similar to other mile and a half tracks, it has some unique characteristics that Can challenge you both as a driver and in how you set the truck up. We’ve also got a new sponsor on board with us, ShowcaseOfCars.com, an internet based auto dealer that has a very unique approach to the business.”

Crew chief Trip Bruce expresses optimism for Friday night’s race, “Working with Justin has been great. Not only can he drive a race truck, but he can build one, too. You don’t often get that combination. Because of that ability, he gives excellent feedback which will serve us well as we adjust the truck in practice to find the right balance in race trim.”

Adds Jennings, “I’m really looking forward to the Lucas Oil 225 this Friday,” says Jennings. “We have some unfinished business from last year. We got caught up in a wreck a third of the way through the race. We had just gotten the truck to where it was driving real well and then it was over. I feel like if we can build from where we were at that point, we’ll be in good shape.”

Team owner Mike Mittler agrees. “With the concerted effort our team has made on our intermediate track program, I’m looking forward to a good run. Plus, all of our sponsors are Midwest based companies, LG Seeds, Excel Bottling’s Ski Soda and our new partner, ShowcaseOfCars.com, so Chicagoland is an important track for them. And, of course, as always, we’ll be supporting Eagle Rock Camp.”
