NCWTS: Texas Motor Speedway Preview

This weekend the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will head off to the Texas Motor Speedway for the 15th annual WinStar World Casino 350. The entry list currently features 34 total drivers to attempt this weekend’s race. Johnny Sauter is the defending race winner.

The drivers to expect to see running this weekend include, Tyler Young, Justin Lofton, Chris Cockrum, Brad Keselowski, Spencer Gallagher, Ryan Lynch, Kyle Busch, Justin Jennings, David Starr, Scott Riggs, and Ryan Sieg No. 93.

Nine drivers will have to qualify on speed if three or more teams locked in enter into the event. Those are: Chris Lafferty, Tyler Young, Justin Lofton, Jennifer Jo Cobb, Spencer Gallagher, Jeff Agnew, Justin Jennings, Scott Riggs, and Ryan Sieg.

Kyle Busch Motorsports No. 51 Toyota sits just 15 points behind the No. 88 owned by ThorSport Racing. Kyle will go after his fifth win of the 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season. The team won the owner title in their first season of competition.
ThorSport Racing is also going after a record of being the only racing team to lead the standings after every race of the season.

At Talladega Superspeedway, Brendan Gaughan announced that he would move on full-time to the NASCAR Naationwide Series with Richard Childress Racing next season. However, Gaughan would like to capture a victory in atleast one of the next three races remaining this year. He came home second last weekend in Martinsville to match his best finish earlier this season at Charlotte in May. Gaughan has captured seven top-five finishes matching his best in 2003.

Ryan Sieg will make his 100th career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

Brad Keselowski will take over the No. 19 Draw Tite Ford that he owns. His Sprint Cup teammate Joey Logano was scheduled to drive, but Keselowski decided to take over so Logano can focus on his Chase efforts.

You can catch this weekend’s race Friday evening live at 8:00 p.m. Et. on Fox Sports 1. The Motor Racing Network will provide the live radio coverage of the event.
