NCWTS: Sauter Steals Win at Talladega

Johnny Sauter scored the win at the Talladega Superspeedway after avoiding a nasty crash coming to the line to finish the race. He earned his third win this season, and his second on a restrictor plate track. Sauter won the race by 1.182 seconds over David Starr.

David Starr captured his second top-10 finish today at the Talladega Superspeedway in eight total starts. He also captured his first top-10 finish this season behind the wheel of the No. 81 BYF.org Toyota.

Ross Castain came home in the third spot after one of his best runs this season. He was one of the drivers who got caught up in the crash on the final lap. He posted his best finish today at the Talladega Superspeedway in his second start.

Darrell Wallace, Jr. was the highest finishing rookie after finishing 17th. He started the race from the 10th position.

Matt Crafton sneaks out of Talladega with a 57 point lead over Ty Dillon. He pretty much has the championship locked up with four races remaining.

The next race for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will be next week at Martinsville Speedway. Race converge will begin at 1:00 p.m. Et. live on Fox Sports 1. Denny Hamlin is the defending race winner.
