Justin Haley won Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff race at Talladega Superspeedway.

Haley went from tenth to the lead in the final 10 laps of the race to win and advance into the next round.

“Got this thing into the Round of 8. That’s the most important,” Haley told NBCSN post-race.

For Haley, this marks his third straight win. His previous two wins came at Talladega in June and Daytona in August.

Haley was leading the race when the caution came out on the back straightaway that involved playoff contender Harrison Burton and four other drivers.

Michael Annett, who originally finished the race in second but his car was disqualified for failing post-race inspection.

Rounding out the top five were Ryan Sieg in second, Noah Gragson in third, Brandon Jones in fourth and Daniel Hemric in fifth.

Ryan Sieg, who finished second marked his second straight top five finish. Noah Gragson’s third place finish marks his sixth top 10 finish in a row.

Chase Briscoe, who won both stages of the race, lost the lead with 2 laps to go after hitting the wall.

Rounding out the top ten were Ross Chastain in sixth, Josh Williams in seventh, Garrett Smithley in eighth, Brandon Brown in ninth and Alex Labbe in tenth.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will head to the Charlotte Roval at 3:30 p.m. Eastern on October 10th. This race will mark the first playoff elimination race.

Chase Briscoe won Friday night’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway in a late race pass to get the victory in the final regular season race of the season.

Briscoe passed Austin Cindric late in the race and would hold command of the lead to the checkered flag. Friday’s victory marks Briscoe’s seventh win of the season, a series high.

“I was so mad after last week,” Briscoe told NBCSN post-race. “I told all the guys there ain’t no way we’re getting beat today. I was so mad after how we ran last week and I get on the internet all the time and I see guys count us out after one bad race and I know what this team is capable. I finished second here the last two races and I wanted to win here so bad and it’s awesome that I can actually celebrate it with all these race fans.”

Rounding out the top five were Ross Chastain in second, Austin Cindric in third, Harrison Burton in fourth and Justin Allgaier in fifth.

Ross Chastain, who finished second lead 117 laps of the race and took the lead on three different occasions.

Justin Allgaier, who finished fifth lead the early part of the race, leading 126 laps and sweeping the first two stages. However, Allgaier would loose the race lead in the pits after Stage 2 during pit stops.

Rounding out the top ten were Anthony Alfredo in sixth, Noah Gragson in seventh, Brandon Jones in eighth, Jeb Burton and Riley Herbst in tenth.

Brandon Brown, who finished 12th, clinched the final playoff spot.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will open their playoffs at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sept. 26th at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on NBCSN.

Brad Keselowski won Saturday’s NASCAR Cup playoff race at Richmond Raceway, earning him a spot in the second round of the playoffs.

“Man, this thing was awesome,” Keselowski told NBCSN post-race.

Driver No. 2 led 192 of the 400 lap race, including the final 48 laps.

Keselowski said post-race that he hopes this id the car they use for the championship race at Phoenix later this year.

“We knew this was gonna be a really big pit strategy race, but we had the speed, we had the strategy. This team today did it all,” Keselowski told NBCSN post-race.

Rounding out the top five were Martin Truex Jr. in second, Joey Logano in third, Austin Dillion in fourth and Chase Elliott in fifth.

Kyle Busch, who before the race started failed pre-race inspection twice, finished sixth.

Completing the top ten were Kevin Harvick in seventh, Aric Almirola in eighth, Alex Bowman in ninth and Clint Bowyer in tenth.

Clint Bowyer, who finished tenth currently holds the final transfer spot to the second round of the playoffs. He ahead of William Byron by three points and ahead of Cole Custer by eight points. Matt DiBenedetto is 25 points below the cutoff and Ryan Blaney is 27 points below the cutoff.

Denny Hamlin secured a spot in the second round of the playoffs with his 12th place finish.

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday Sept. 19th at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. This race will cut the playoff field from 16 drivers to 12 drivers.

Sheldon Creed won Sunday’s NASCAR Gander Outdoor Truck Series race at Gateway to win his third race of the season.

Driver No. 2 took the race lead from his GMS Racing teammate Sam Mayer on a restart with 13 laps to go in the final stage.

Sunday’s win gave Creed his second win as apart of the “Triple Truck Challenge,” giving Creed a $150,000 bonus.

“I want to start with apologizing to Gilliland,” Creed told FS1 post-race. “It’s so hard to pass here and I got the opportunity to get to his inside, just was really loose getting in and he was close to my door. They were having such a good day. Hate to do that to him. He owes me one. Hats off to my guys. Great adjustments all day, came from 17th. Had my work cut out for me.”

Gilliland, who won the first two stages of the race finished 22nd after he got into the Turn 2 wall after making contact with Sheldon Creed as they battled for the race lead with under 40 laps to go.

Rounding out the top five were Brett Moffitt in second, Austin Hill in third, Sam Mayer in fourth and Stewart Friesen in fifth.

Rounding out the top ten were Raphael Lessard in sixth, Zane Smith in seventh, Grant Enfinger in eighth, Ty Majeski in ninth and Tanner Gray in tenth.

Championship contender Johnny Sauter would have to leave the race before Lap 30 due to a mechanical problem. Rising start Chandler Smith finished 24th after he wrecked after making contact with Ben Rhodes on Lap 78.

The NASCAR Gander Outdoor Truck Series will head to Darlington at 2 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 6th on FS1.

Justin Allgaier won Sunday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Dover to win his first Xfinity Series race of 2020, ending a 20-race winless streak.

Allgaier led 120 laps of the 200 lap race, including the remaining 50 laps.

For driver No. 7, it’s his sixth straight Dover race in which he’s finished third or better.

“These last 18 to 24 month have been crazy,” Allgaier told NBCSN post-race. “Just proud of these guys and the no give of attitude they’ve got. What a day. What a racecar. We were off a little bit in the beginning and Jason did a great job of getting us where we need to be at.”

Rounding out the top five were Austin Cindric in second, Ross Chastain in third, Noah Gragson in fourth and Noah Gragson in fifth.

Austin Cindric, who finished second has finished runner-up in the last seven races.

Rounding out the top ten were Riley Herbst in sixth, Jeb Burton in seventh, Justin Haley in eighth, Michael Annett in ninth and Chase Briscoe in tenth.

Jeb Burton, who finished seventh earned his third top 10 of the 2020 season with only six starts thus far.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will race once again on Sunday as part of the doubleheader from Dover this weekend with coverage beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern on NBCSN.

For Sunday’s race, the top 15 finishers will be inverted. Brett Moffitt will start from the pole and Brandon Brown will start alongside in second.
