“Yeah, we had a loose wheel. It stinks.. it’s kind of been the way our year has gone. Coming off of turn two, it’s a little slick there getting up to speed. I didn’t really think it was a loose wheel, but it was really loose, which could have given me a little bit of a hint. But I got down into turns three and four, you can just see the wheel comes off. It’s unfortunate. We’ll go back to work – try to stay positive through the rest of the year and try to get a win for this No. 3 Bass Pro Shops Chevy team.”

Was there any warning?

“Coming off the flat and getting up to speed, I was a little free. I didn’t know what it was and then halfway down the backstretch, I was a little worried and then it just blew off when we got to the center of the corner.”

In a  season in which he’s already captured a Chili Bowl victory, a USAC Indiana Midget Week title and even posted two USAC National feature wins in one day, Logan Seavey managed to top himself once more.

The Sutter, Calif. native scored not one, not two but three USAC National feature wins on Saturday night during the 41st running of the 4-Crown Nationals Presented By NKTELCO at Rossburg, Ohio’s Eldora Speedway.

Seavey clicked off an avalanche of successive feature victories, first earning a 25-lap USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget main, followed by a wire-to-wire 30-lap USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship triumph and a dominating 50-lap USAC Silver Crown triumph to cap the night.

In doing so, he joined an exclusive list of three drivers who’ve been able to achieve the monumental task and turn a Saturday night in western Ohio into a fairytale night.

Jack Hewitt swept all three USAC wins during the 1998 4-Crown Nationals and added a UMP Modified win to boot. Kyle Larson followed suit by knocking out three consecutive USAC wins on 4-Crown night in 2011.

On this particular night, Seavey collected $10,000 for each feature victory, totaling $30,000 in all. But to put together one of the greatest nights of racing in the 68-year history of the United States Auto Club, well, that’s priceless.

“This is probably one of the coolest nights of my life,” Seavey basked in the moment. “I’m just driving three good racecars and I can do whatever I want, wherever I want with them. It’s just one of those nearly perfect nights. You just have to be driving great racecars and I’ve got three incredible racecars.”

USAC NOS ENERGY DRINK MIDGET NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FEATURE

First up was the midget main event, which saw Seavey starting from the outside of the front row alongside Daison Pursley. By the end of lap one, Bryant Wiedeman had raced his way to the front of the field from the inside of the second row. However, on lap four, Seavey was ready to make his move.

There, Seavey dove to the inside of turn one to overtake Wiedeman for the top spot. Wiedeman fought back to retake the position with a slider entering turn three. However, Seavey quickly countered back underneath off the exit of turn four to beat Wiedeman back to the line by a single car length.

On lap six, major trouble ensued when sixth place running Jade Avedisian clipped the turn one wall, which sent her flipping wildly. Meanwhile, Thomas Meseraull (10th), in an effort to avoid the incident, ramped up the wall and also found himself upside down. Both drivers walked away, but their rides were finished for the evening.

Down the stretch, Wiedeman continuously tried to make up ground toward Seavey on the low line. Wiedeman continuously hugged the bottom while Seavey embraced the high side. Wiedeman was able to draw close time after time, but the low groove was unable to match the top side momentum that pushed Seavey back out front at the exit of turns two and four each and every time.

Under green, Seavey admitted to glancing up at the video board located between turns one and two at the facility to see where Wiedeman was located. Ultimately, Seavey worked himself out of the habit, and instead, refocused his attention away from what Wiedeman was doing and hammered it late to win going away.

In the final tally, Seavey claimed his first career Eldora midget victory by a 1.215 second margin in his Abacus Racing/Honest Abe Roofing – Indy Custom Stone – Laura Kopetsky Tri-Ax/Spike/Stanton SR-11x. Seavey had previously finished as the runner-up during the midget feature at the 2021 4-Crown.  This weekend also marked Abacus Racing’s first ever visit to Eldora and snapped CB Industries record four-race Eldora winning streak.

CBI’s Wiedeman (Colby, Kan.) took second for the third time in four career midget starts at Eldora with no finish worse than third. Rico Abreu (St. Helena, Calif.) took third with Gavin Miller (Allentown, Pa.) fourth and Jacob Denney (Galloway, Ohio) rounding out the top-five. Hayden Reinbold (Gilbert, Ariz.) was the night’s hard charger, finishing a career best seventh after starting 15th.

USAC AMSOIL SPRINT CAR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FEATURE

With the first crown in his pocket, at this point in the night, Seavey felt his confidence brewing going into feature number two.

“After last night, I knew we had some work to do with our midget and we got that way better,” Seavey explained. “After we won the midget race, I was really, really excited knowing that my sprint car was on the pole. I knew that thing was going to drive good.”

As it turned out, Seavey was right on the mark with that remark as he immediately stepped out in front to command the USAC Sprint Car field. However, the major breaking story at the moment was the tumultuous night for Brady Bacon.

On lap six, Bacon suffered an engine woe that forced him to the pits and a 22nd place finish, dropping him from 15 points out of the championship lead to 66 behind Grant with just three races remaining. With that said, it was just the latest in a nightmarish evening for Bacon, starting with methanol splashing into his eye during a pit mishap, which caused his eye to swell shut. To add insult to injury, during his qualifying run, Bacon tagged the turn four wall and flipped, forcing him into a backup ride.

Back up front, Seavey never relented control as he maintained roughly a one second lead throughout the duration, although Grant was able draw closer than anyone else with 10 laps to go until smacking the outside turn one wall with his right rear tire.

At that point, Seavey worked lapped traffic with ease and coasted to victory lane in his 2B Racing/Honest Abe Roofing – Benic Enterprises – Goodnight Racing/DRC/Claxton Chevy. The nine-year old chassis dubbed “Barney” for its proximity in age to the era of dinosaurs, guided the 2B team with Scott Benic at the helm to their first 4-Crown victory since Levi Jones popularized the term “four-in-the-fluff” in 2005.

Justin Grant (Ione, Calif.) was 1.131 sec. behind Seavey at the finish line in second with Emerson Axsom (Franklin, Ind.) third, Honest Abe Roofing Fast Qualifier C.J. Leary (Greenfield, Ind.) fourth and Briggs Danner (Allentown, Pa.) fifth. Daison Pursley (Locust Grove, Okla.) scored hard charger honors with an 18th to 10th run in his first 4-Crown sprint car experience.

USAC SILVER CROWN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FEATURE

It was two down and one to go for Seavey entering the USAC Silver Crown night capper. But after two front row starts, Seavey was slated to start fifth in the Silver Crown finale. However, that was just a temporary hangup in his pursuit to the front.

Silver Crown Rookie Chase Dietz was the first big mover and shaker in the field as he burst through to the opening lap lead from his fourth starting position. After a lap six caution for Matt Mitchell who stalled with a car that jumped out of gear, Seavey began to haul.

On the ensuing lap seven restart, Seavey scooted under pole sitter Justin Grant in turn three to slot into third. Seavey did the same to Matt Westfall in turn two to grab second on lap nine. One lap later, Seavey broadsided past Dietz in turns one and two to corral the race lead for good on the 10th circuit.

Seavey rode the rim the rest of the way aboard his Rice Motorsports-Abacus Racing/STIDA.com – CG CPAs – Indy Custom Stone/DRC/Felker Chevy, controlling the remaining 41 laps with relative ease and precision, crossing the line 2.169 seconds ahead of Westfall to complete the USAC portion sweep of the night.

Rounding out the top-five behind Seavey and Westfall (Pleasant Hill, Ohio) were Chase Dietz (York, Pa.) followed by a career-best fourth place run for Carmen Perigo (Stoystown, Pa.) while Kody Swanson (Kingsburg, Calif.) rounded out the top-five.

Mitchel Moles (Raisin City, Calif.) drove from 14th to 7th, earning himself ProSource Passing Master honors for the 4-Crown weekend with 18 total positions advanced throughout the three USAC divisions combined. Furthermore, Tyler Courtney (Indianapolis, Ind.), subbing for Brady Bacon in Chris Dyson’s No. 9, made a major charge from the 26th starting spot to finish 8th. Russ Gamester (Peru, Ind.), a 25th place finisher, equaled Brian Tyler with the most career Silver Crown starts, making his 212th on Saturday night at Eldora.

But the headline story was Seavey who joined Jack Hewitt in a multitude of manners on Saturday night. Another feather in the cap for Seavey was his third straight USAC Silver Crown win at Eldora, a feat that only Hewitt had achieved before with three consecutive in 1994-95-96. It was par for the course for Seavey on a historical night at The Big E.

“I feel so confident when we get in this thing anywhere, especially this dirt car, miles, half-miles, it doesn’t really matter, but especially these half-miles,” Seavey noted. “This thing drives so good and A.J. Felker does such a great job with our engine. This is exactly what you need for the dirt stuff we do.”

Seavey now exits Eldora with a 16-point lead over Kody Swanson in the pursuit of his first Silver Crown championship with one race remaining on October 14 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.

The German race fans went crazy during EuroNASCAR PRO Round 10 at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben were treated with their hero winning at his home circuit. After securing pole position in both races of the NASCAR GP Germany, Tobias Dauenhauer delivered on the promise with an epic NASCAR Whelen Euro Series victory. The 26-year-old from Heppenheim led from start to finish to become the first German driver to win in EuroNASCAR’s top division, establishing both him and Bremotion as a force to be reckoned with in the future.

Dauenhauer analyzed his start from Round 9, improved his reaction time and got a perfect launch on the opening lap. Immediately, the 26-year-old built a comfortable lead over Paul Jouffreau who stayed on the back bumper of the #99 Chevrolet Camaro, but Dauenhauer did his best to manage his lead and never left a door open for the Frenchman. At the end of 20 thrilling laps in front of tens of thousands of NASCAR enthusiasts on the grandstands, Dauenhauer wrote history by crossing the finish line in first place. The Heppenheim native also topped the standings in the Junior Trophy.

“It’s amazing for me as a driver and it’s amazing for the team. They did a great job!” said an ecstatic Dauenhauer in Victory Lane. “It’s the first win for Bremotion and me in EuroNASCAR PRO, so I’m absolutely happy to get it in front of my home crowd! I’m a little bit speechless.”

Jouffreau confirmed his strong pace and took home his fourth EuroNASCAR PRO podium finish of the 2023 NWES season. The Frenchman bested two-time NWES champion Anthony Kumpen who gained some ground in the overall standings ahead of his home race at Circuit Zolder. The Belgian is fourth after the regular season, just 23 points down on the championship leader. Vittorio Ghirelli ended up fourth but the Team Bleekemolen driver from Italy stays in the hunt of championship leader Gianmarco Ercoli, who closed the top-5 in his #54 CAAL Racing Chevrolet. Ercoli defended the championship lead by just four points ahead of his fellow countryman Ghirelli. 

Liam Hezemans ended up sixth, rounding out the top-3 of the Junior Trophy behind Dauenhauer and Jouffreau. Finishing seventh was Marc Goossens, who made his first start ever in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben despite his rich experience in racing around the world. Giorgio Maggi showed a spark of his high potential by finishing eighth. He was followed by Sebastiaan Bleekemolen and Ryan Vargas. The latter made his European racing debut and ended up inside the top-10 twice on board of his #30 3F Racing Chevrolet Camaro. Thomas Toffel won the Challenger Trophy for elite amateur drivers in EuroNASCAR PRO by crossing the finish line in 15th. The Swiss Race Art Technology driver was joined on the podium by Riccardo Romagnoli and Massimiliano Lanza. 

Championship contender Lucas Lasserre finished last after suffering from issues on his #64 Speedhouse Ford Mustang but the Frenchman still has chances of winning the title as he sits in third overall 21 points behind Ercoli. In the Junior Trophy, Hezemans leads Vladimiros Tziortzis by ten points while Ulysse Delsaux is third, 15 points down on the Dutchman. In the Challenger Trophy, Fabrizio Armetta sits on top in 14th overall but Romagnoli closed in in the standings and is just 13 behind his Italian compatriot, while Lanza is nine points further behind. 

The 2023 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series Finals will take place on October 14-15 at Circuit Zolder in Belgium. Four races with double points on the line will for sure make the last event of the year a must-watch. Qualifying and all races will be broadcast live on EuroNASCAR’s YouTube channel, Motorsport.tv and several TV services from all around the world.

A new chapter in NASCAR Whelen Euro Series history has been written at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben in Germany. Patrick Schober scored his maiden EuroNASCAR 2 win and also put Double V Racing’s #27 Ford Mustang in Victory Lane for the first time. The Austrian, who joined the overall podium in the Czech Republic, had a stellar run and crossed the finish line ahead of Race Art Technology’s Thomas Toffel and Team Bleekemolen’s Melvin de Groot in a dramatic race. Penalties in the race shuffled up the order of a 16-lap race packed with intense action. 

Unperturbed by this, Schober took the lead on lap nine in a battle against Gil Linster, who later served his drive through penalty for an incident with Alberto Naska in the fight for the lead. Afterwards, Schober never gave his competitors a single chance to catch the Double V Racing Ford. By bringing home an emotional maiden race win in EuroNASCAR, the 19-year old will make a huge step up in the overall standings as he moved to sixth after dropping his two worst results of the regular season. Now, the Austrian is looking to end the 2023 EuroNASCAR 2 season inside the overall top-5. 

“Oh my God, I didn’t actually believe that I would actually win the race!” said the Double V star driver in Victory Lane. “I hoped for a podium, but I’m surprised that I won. The team did a great job and also want to thank my sponsors Keyman, Motorsport Aktiv and Procar Motorsport. I’m really thankful to them and if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t have the opportunity to do this interview! I fought so much this year, I had such a hard crash in Brands Hatch and now the victory came and I’m so happy!”

Ending up second was Toffel in his #34 Race Art Technology Chevrolet Camaro. The Swiss made the transition from bike to auto racing and had his breakthrough at Autodrom Most where he scored a solid seventh place. The second position in Germany was the best result for the 32-year-old in his young EuroNASCAR career. Toffel also led the Rookie Trophy standings and brought home a nice trophy that will surely get a special place in his trophy rack. 

Following in third was the reigning Legend Trophy champion Melvin de Groot in his #69 Team Bleekemolen Ford Mustang. The Dutchman was on the overall podium for the first time in the 2023 NWES season and collected his third top-3 finish after two podiums in the NASCAR GP Belgium back in 2021 and 2022. Defending his Legend Trophy title after missing out on the season opener in Valencia will be a tough mission for de Groot, but still the Dutch giant aims to end the year inside the top-3 of the special classification. 

Saturday’s race winner Paul Jouffreau started from pole but was caught in turn 1 and shuffled down the order. Still, the Frenchman in the colors of RDV Competition made a strong comeback to finish fourth. The 19-year old scored important points in the championship battle and after dropping his two worst results of the regular season, he sits eight points behind championship leader Vladimiros Tziortzis. Tziortzis returned to action after he was sidelined by technical issues on Saturday, but the Cypriot started from the back of the field and got penalized for an avoidable collision with Dominique Schaak and therefore only ended up twelfth. 

Jack Davidson had a strong run in his #48 Marko Stipp Motorsport Chevrolet and celebrated a second place on the Rookie Trophy podium. He was followed by the special classification’s points leader Thomas Dombrowski, who rounded out the Rookie Trophy top-3. Roberto Benedetti took home second in the Legend Trophy ahead of Claudio Cappelli. Dominique Schaak scored his first ever top-10 in wha was only his second NWES start with Bremotion, while Gil Linster ended up ninth after receiving multiple penalties. 

Linster fought for his first EuroNASCAR race win but caused an avoidable collision with Alberto Naska in the battle for the top spots. Later in the race, the Luxembourgish made a false start during the restart and also got a penalty for a contact with Cappelli. Still, the Hendriks Motorsport driver finished ninth right ahead of the Italian driver in the #18 Race Art Technology Ford Mustang, who rounded out the top-10. Following the contact with Linster, Naska tried to make a comeback but another spin caused the CAAL Racing driver to drop down to 16th overall. 

In the provisional overall standings, Tziortzis leads the EuroNASCAR 2 classification with 296 points on his tally. Naska is second, seven points behind the Cypriot in his #5 Academy / Alex Caffi Motorsport EuroNASCAR FJ. Jouffreau follows in third with only eight points separating him from the leader. With double points on the line at Circuit Zolder, the championship and trophy battles there promises thrilling races and last-minute title decisions.

The EuroNASCAR 2 will be back in action at the EuroNASCAR Finals on October 14-15 in Belgium, while the EuroNASCAR PRO field will highlight a phenomenal return of the NASCAR GP Germany at its new home, the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. EuroNASCAR PRO Round 10 will take place at 13:55 CEST and will be broadcast live on EuroNASCAR’s YouTube channel, Motorsport.tv and several TV services from all around the world.

The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series is visiting the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben for the NASCAR GP Germany, the 2023 regular season finale. Race control announced three post-race penalties after the two Saturday races. Team Bleekemolen drivers Vittorio Ghirelli and Sebastiaan Bleekemolen each drop three position in the the final standings of EuroNASCAR PRO Round 9 because of minor technical non-conformities on the #72 Toyota Camry and #69 Ford Mustang. In EuroNASCAR 2 Round 9, RDV Competition’s Paul Jouffreau was handed a 5-second penalty for a false start that didn't affect the final result. 

The stewards decision reported: “On the final technical check after the race the car was not in conformity with the technical regulations. The air filter was not the same as it should be according to the technical specification. The air filter was not bought from the official EuroNASCAR shop.”

In EuroNASCAR PRO, Ghirelli lost his win to Jouffreau and dropped down to fourth. Tobias Dauenhauer and Marc Goossens followed inside the top-3 behind Jouffreau. Ghirelli also lost his championship lead to Gianmarco Ercoli, the two Italians are now separated by five points in the championship standings. Bleekemolen dropped down to eleventh place. 

Jouffreau was still the winner of EuroNASCAR 2 Round 9 despite his penalty and that makes him the first ever driver to win a race in both championships on the same day. 

The NASCAR GP Germany at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben will continue on Sunday with Rounds 10 in both divisions. After the regular season finale all drivers will drop their two worst results of the ten races. The races will be broadcast live on EuroNASCAR’s YouTube channel, Motorsport.tv and several TV services from around the world.

The final race night of the 2023 racing season completed just before midnight on Saturday and not because the night was drawn out with lengthy intermissions or late starts. 143 racecars covering seven racing divisions flooded the pit area and provided race fans one final lasting memory before the high-banked dirt oval will fall silent for the next six months.

The return of the Diane Bennett Memorial and Tom Bennett Fan Giveback brought races from all over Illinois as well as Missouri and Indiana to test their luck on the “Coolest Bullring in the Country.” Along with the Bennett Memorial race night, it was also the Brandt Season Championship which saw six Macon Speedway divisions crown champions.

Braden Johnson of Taylorville would fall second in the Decatur Building Trades Pro Late Model 40-lap feature but would hoist the checkered flag in glory of his first track championship at Macon Speedway. The driver would win four features during the course of the season but couldn’t manage the pass around Dakota Ewing to get number five. Ewing’s Pro Late Model was smooth across the top of the track to secure his second feature of the year.

Tim Luttrell caught fire during the season and ran his way to five feature wins and the points lead going into the final week. Luttrell’s third place finish in the 30-lap Red’s Place Modifieds feature event was enough to help him capture his first track championship. Jeremy Nichols made a pass on Missouri driver Damian Kiefer for the lead on lap 13 and then Kiefer was crashed into by a lapped car that led to his car getting mangled and taken into the infield. Austin Lynn kept pace with Nichols for the lead but finished the runner up.

Dalton Ewing won not only the feature but the Pro Modified track championship as he passed Guy Taylor in the late stages of the race to cement his 2023 legacy. His brother Dakota has won a Pro Late Model championship and his father Steve has won championships in Modifieds and Street Stocks. Dalton is a Pro Modified champion with the help of seven feature wins during the season.

Plenty of excitement occurred in the Weddle Performance Engines Sportsman Division as Wes O’Dell was hanging on by two points over Randy Huffman for the championship. O’Dell finished a spot behind Huffman to draw their point totals to even but because O’Dell had five feature wins, he owned the tie breaker and claimed the championship for the season. Former track champion Dennis Vandermeersch rushed to the top of the track to pass Steven Mattingly, who won last week during KerbyStrong, and ran away with the race for his second feature win of 2023.

The night also saw the return of a former Macon Speedway legend in Jeff Leka. The former Modified National Champion returned to race in the Street Stocks class in the Rudy Zaragoza 67R racecar and had a good night winning his heat and also his feature. The top of the track worked well for Leka and not so well for Bobby Beiler, the second place driver who would claim the Street Stock championship.

The Hornets saw Tristin Quinlan return to championship glory. The Decatur champion kept his distance from Billy Mason en route to his second consecutive Hornet title. Quinlan’s other Hornet was also in action Saturday night and was driven by former Hornet National Champion as well as Macon Speedway Hornet champion in Adam Webb.

The night also included the winged Micro Sprints Presented by Bailey Chassis. Jeremy Camp led all 15 laps and the race went green flag to checkered flag in a mere three minutes. It was among the fastest races of the night, if not the entire season. The Sullivan driver coasted from the pole position to reach the checkered flag.

Macon Speedway PR

Bryant Wiedeman led the first three laps on the way to earning a second-place finish to lead Toyota in the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget National Championship’s 41^st annual 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora Speedway, Saturday.

The second place showing marks Wiedeman’s third runner-up finish in the last four races at Eldora. 

Wiedeman would lead the first three laps before eventual winner Logan Seavey was able to move past on lap four. Wiedeman would never run lower than second throughout the entire race. He cut the lead to .325 seconds on lap 20, but just wasn’t able to overtake Seavey down the stretch.

Gavin Miller placed fourth with Jacob Denney registering a fifth-place finish as Toyota-powered drivers captured three of the top-five finishing positions on the night. 

Next up for the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship is the Driven2SaveLives BC39 at the Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, September 27-30.

Sammy Smith continued his strong early Playoff run with a third-place finish. Going into the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL cut off race, Smith holds an 18-point advantage over the cutline.

It is absolutely amazing what we’ve been able to accomplish so far this year and I don’t think we are done yet. We set a lot of goals with this 20 team coming into this year and still yet to accomplish all of those, but win number seven – Romco back in victory lane here in Texas. What does the next two weeks look like for you and this team as you look forward to the Round of 8?

“Preparing for the Round of 8. My goal coming into today was to lock ourselves in to the next round. Our road courses haven’t been very great with me this year. Joe Gibbs Racing as an organization has been really good on road courses, but going into the ROVAL and not having to worry about that is definitely a relief. We are still going to go there and try to play strategy, try to win the race and get some more Playoff points, but focus on Vegas, Miami and Martinsville and then on to Phoenix.”

Can you tell us what happened?

“I was so loose in all day in turn three that I backed the corner up. If I could drive it deep, I could get it to be tight on the right front. On the restart with Josh (Berry) on the outside, I just had to lift a little early and when I did to unlock the rear end, I got loose. He gave me room, and I hate it for him, because he did. He moved up a lane. Still slid up and got his left rear, and when we made contact, we were both going around. It’s pretty unfortunate. I love being at these races – love running up front. I don’t know if we had anything for the 7 early in that race, but we definitely had a top-three, top-five Interstate Batteries Supra. Track position is so important, that is what makes these restarts so wild. Everyone knows you’ve got to get those spots in the first couple of laps, or you are going to ride behind them for the next 20. Had to go for it but hate that it affected the 8 (Josh Berry), 21 (Austin Hill) and those guys. Thankful to be here.”

Automatically locking into the Eibach Championship Night through preliminary event top-four placements on each night, Chelby Hinton, Braden Chiaramonte, Frank Flud, Isaiah Garcia, Colby Sokol, Sam Johnson, NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Sheldon Creed, and Austin Saunders would all contend in a four-lap pole shuffle ‘King of Texas’ single-elimination dash with Branden Chiaramonte gaining the win and first position grid for the feature event. 

Flying onto the track for Eibach Championship Night feature racing for the Micro Mania KKM Challenge would see Night Two and ‘King of Texas’ dash winner Braden Chiaramonte battle outside front-row contender and Night One winner Chelby Hinton as the green flew with Braden Chiaramonte holding the front of the field for the first pair of fast-paced laps around Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway as Chelby Hinton, Sam Johnson, Sheldon Creed, and Colby Sokol all battled inside the early contending top five as an early caution would wave.

Restarting with the choose-cone in play would find Braden Chiaramonte protecting the front of the field as Steven Snyder Jr. would blast to the lead pack and into the runner-up spot with Chelby Hinton staying close in third as Darren Brown and Sheldon Creed battled within the top five. Sam Johnson, Justis Sokol, Isaiah Garcia, Colby Sokol, and Jadan Bowling would run inside the contending top ten.

Overtaking for the lead by using a perfect restart would find Steven Snyder Jr. taking the top spot on the field briefly as Chelby Hinton would drive to the point placement with Chiaramonte recovering to run third in a barrage of battles around Lil Texas Motor Speedway.

Sticking to the fastest low-line path, Chelby Hinton would hold steady up front while guarding the constant pressure from Braden Chiaramonte as well as Steven Snyder Jr. as Darren Brown and Sheldon Creed both battled behind the lead pack with the laps ticking away at a rapid rate.

Adding even more intrigue to an already instant classic of a feature event would see a caution displayed with two laps remaining to bunch the field back together for a shoot-out to determine the victor as Chelby Hinton would defend the top spot for the final laps to earn his third career POWRi Outlaw Non-Wing Micro victory as Braden Chiaramonte would finish in the closely guarded second spot with Steven Snyder Jr finalizing the podium placements.

“I noticed on the last restart that the rubber was coming in on the bottom and when I saw Snyder get on the top I knew I had to get up on the wheel through one and two and I got really lucky with lap traffic too,” said Chelby Hinton in the Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway victory lane for Eibach Championship Night of the Micro Mania KKM Challenge. Adding, “This win means a lot for our team moving into Port with a lot of momentum”.

Keeping a solid showing all night, Darren Brown would place fourth as Sheldon Creed rounded out the top-five finishers in the POWRi Outlaw Micro League presented by Rush Race Products feature in Eibach Championship Night of the Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway Micro Mania KKM Challenge.

Winners of each $10K to win finale events at the Sweet Springs’ KKM Challenge Race and the TMS Micro Mania will each receive automatic entry into Saturday’s Dash in the KKM Giveback Classic at Port City Raceway on October 21st. The overall event winner at Port City Raceway will get the decision of the $15,000 lump sum prize or a ride in a Keith Kunz Motorsports entry at the Chili Bowl along with $7,500 cash from KKM and FloRacing.
