Busch announces the fastest sweepstakes in NASCAR history

The Daytona 500 is NASCAR’s biggest race, with fans hanging on to their favorite driver’s every turn, pass and pit stop in the hope he’ll take the checkered flag. At Daytona 2020, Busch Light is giving fans another reason to keep their eyes glued to the track with the announcement of #Pit4Busch—the fastest sweepstakes in NASCAR history that gives fans across the U.S. the chance to take home a brand-new sports car.

Participation in #Pit4Busch is simple, but fans will need to act fast and follow Kevin Harvick’s #4 Busch car closely. Each time Harvick pits during the race, fans will have between 12 and 16 seconds—however long the stop takes—to tweet #Pit4Busch and #Sweepstakes for the chance to win a brand-new Ford Mustang. These aren’t the typical new sports cars. The winning vehicles will be fully-wrapped in the classic Busch Light #4 paint scheme. With each pit stop serving as its own sweepstakes, fans will have multiple chances to win, from lap 1 to lap 200.

“Both Busch and Harvick’s #4 car have some of the most loyal and engaged fans in the world. #Pit4Busch is a way to see just how engaged they are during the 500, and reward a few of them with a Busch-branded sports car of their own,” says Daniel Blake, Senior Director of Marketing at Anheuser-Busch. “Harvick wastes no time around the track, so this is the fans’ opportunity to show some of their skills too. We can’t wait to see it all come together on race day.”

On race day, fans watching at home won’t have to look far in order to know what to do, because Harvick’s #4 car will be fitted with a one-of-a-kind #Pit4Busch paint scheme, with the flames on the slide indicating the speed which fans will need to move to earn a chance to win their new car.

“You can’t win in NASCAR without a fast, efficient pit crew, and my guys are the best. Fans are going to have to be just as quick this year if they want to take home a new car of their own.” says Kevin Harvick, “Just like when Busch turned my car into beer cans, made me race in a bright pink car at the All-Star Race and changed Busch to ‘Harvick’ at Dover last year, I’m always amazed at what they come up with. It’s a great way to start the season.”

The official FOX broadcast of the Daytona 500 will also spotlight the #4 car each time Harvick heads into the pit lane, reminding all NASCAR fans to get their Tweets—and thumbs—ready for a chance to win.
