Rearview Mirror – Last week at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway, Dillon and the Germain Racing team hit the high banks for the final restrictor plate race of the year. Having achieved much success at plate tracks this season and throughout his career, Dillon put his driving skills on display once again as the 27-year-old made it through each of the three major big ones to keep his GEICO Camaro ZL1 damage-free. Restarting from the third position for the green-white-checkered finish, Dillon pushed eventual race winner Ryan Blaney to the lead before falling victim to a lack of drafting help. Despite this, the No. 13 brought home a 10th-place finish, the team’s third top-10 of the season.
