VA Mortgage Center.com, the nation’s No. 1 dedicated VA lender, is proud to announce its sponsorship of racing icon Kenny Schrader and longtime NASCAR crew chief and owner Frank Stoddard’s FAS Lane Racing.
Kenny, a Missouri native, will drive the VA Mortgage Center.com No. 32 car in the upcoming Jeff Byrd 500 presented by Food City. The annual spring NASCAR Sprint Series Cup event will be held Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tenn.
“I’m excited to be working with Frankie and Heidi Stoddard and their VA Mortgage Center.com team for the Sprint Cup race,” Kenny said. “Bristol is a great track. I enjoy the fast pace of the race and never knowing what to expect. I know the car will be competitive. And as far as crew chiefs go, Frankie is one of the best and we work well together.”
This will be Kenny’s first race for FAS Lane Racing, which Stoddard formed in February. The team will field Ford-manufactured cars from Roush-Fenway Racing and Richard Petty Motorsports with a Doug Yates engine.

Grocery chain Food City, which has sponsored the event for two decades, renamed this year’s race in honor of Speedway President and General Manager Jeff Byrd, who died in October 2010.
