Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Joins NBC Sports Monster Energy Supercross Coverage From Houston This Saturday on NBCSN

NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will serve as a guest analyst for NBC Sports’ Monster Energy Supercross from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, this Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Comprehensive live coverage of this Saturday’s Monster Energy Supercross event begins at 1 p.m. ET, with practice exclusively streaming on NBC Sports Gold’s Supercross Pass.

Stenhouse Jr. will begin his day in the No. 17 Roush Fenway Racing Ford at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas, where he will run in a pair of practices before making his way down to Houston where he’ll join NBC Sports’ Supercross coverage on Saturday night.

Stenhouse Jr. will join Ralph Sheheen (play-by-play), five-time Supercross champion and seven-time Motocross champion Ricky Carmichael (analyst), host and former racer Daniel Blair, and reporter Will Christien to call the action.

Stenhouse Jr. and the NBC Sports team will provide a behind-the-scenes look at his day across their Twitter, Facebook and Instagram channels. Following his stint as a guest analyst on Saturday night, Stenhouse Jr. will compete in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

NBC Sports continues its coverage of the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross season this weekend from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. With just five races remaining in the Supercross season, Cooper Webb remains atop the 450SX Class standings, holding a 14-point lead over Marvin Musquin. Musquin won his second straight race last weekend in Seattle, but the victory came with some controversy. Musquin jumped through a section lined with medical flags following an accident and was penalized seven points following his race victory. Meanwhile in the 250SX West Class, Dylan Ferrandis earned his first career win in the U.S., and now trails Adam Cianciarulo by 12 points in the 250SX West Class standings.

NASCAR on NBC analysts Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kyle Petty will join host Marty Snider to discuss the newly-announced 2020 NASCAR schedule on NASCAR America Motormouths today at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

NBC Sports continues its coverage of the 2019 American Flat Track, the most historic form of American motorcycle racing, this weekend at 4:30 p.m. ET with the Yahama Atlanta Short Track race, which was held on March 23 at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Ga.

NBC Sports will showcase 18 American Flat Track weekend premieres on NBCSN, which will be followed by weekday re-airs on the network. Briar Bauman won the season-opening race at Daytona. Jason Weigandt (play-by-play) and Allmendinger (analyst) will call the action.
