Spire Motorsports Unveils Trio of Partners for Atlanta

Spire Motorsports will partner with HeroBox, Harrell’s and Precision Turf for Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway where Garrett Smithley will make his first start of 2019 in NASCAR’s premiere division.
 
Smithley, a veteran NASCAR XFINITY Series competitor and Peachtree City, Ga., native, made his MENCS debut last June and earned three MENCS starts last season.
 
HeroBox, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports deployed, injured, aging and homeless veterans. Its mission is to ensure that every American hero receives the physical and moral support they deserve.
 
Employee-owned Harrell’s serves more than 9,000 specialty golf, ornamental and turf and landscape customers in the U.S., across the Caribbean and Central and South America as well as the Middle East and Pacific Rim. Harrell’s is the exclusive formulator and a leading world distributor of POLYON, the industry’s best controlled-release fertilizer technology.
 
“Atlanta Motor Speedway will always be special to me because that’s where I started racing,” Smithley said. “To be given the opportunity to pilot Spire’s No. 77 Chevrolet on Sunday with sponsorship from HeroBox, Harrell’s, and Precision Turf is truly dream come true. Precision Turf will compliment HeroBox and Harrell’s by serving as an associate sponsor this weekend. The Sugar Hill, Ga., company provides comprehensive athletic playing field services from new field design and construction to renovations, turf care and maintenance.
 
The Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway will be televised live on FOX Sunday, Feb., 24 beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The second of 36 races on the 2019 MENCS schedule will be broadcast live on the Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
