Meijer and Eckrich® Partner with Richard Petty Motorsports at Michigan

Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) announced today, Meijer will be the primary sponsor of Darrell “Bubba” Wallace Jr. and the No. 43 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 team during this weekend’s events at the Michigan International Speedway. Eckrich®, the makers of naturally hardwood smoked sausage and deli meats, will also continue their partnership of Wallace Jr. and the team this weekend in Brooklyn, Michigan.

Meijer, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, operates more than 235 supercenters and grocery stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Wisconsin. Meijer has a fundamental philosophy aimed at strengthening the communities it serves and proudly donates more than six percent of its net profit each year to charities throughout the Midwest. With hunger as a corporate philanthropic focus, Meijer partners with hundreds of food banks and pantries through its Simply Give and food rescue programs.

Recognized for its great taste and quality, the Eckrich brand has a rich heritage starting from a small meat market in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Meijer and Eckrich are partnering for the return of Wallace Jr. to the Michigan International Speedway. Wallace Jr. finished 19th in his second Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race last year at the track.

“This partnership between Eckrich and Meijer is perfect for race fans,” said Wallace Jr. “If you live in the Midwest, you know all about Meijer and their great service. Whether tailgating or homegating, Eckrich smoked sausage is perfect for your grill. Go to Meijer, pick up some Eckrich, and cheer for us during the race!”

The FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway is scheduled for this Sunday, June 10. The race will be televised live on FOX at 2:00 p.m. ET and broadcast on Motor Racing Network and SIRIUS/XM NASCAR Channel 90.
