Lindsay Czarniak Joins Joe Gibbs Racing’s Coverage of the Daytona 500

Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) announces today that national television journalist and personality Lindsay Czarniak will join it’s team coverage from Daytona International Speedway in the days leading up to the 60th running of the famed Daytona 500.

Czarniak is coming off a two-week stint covering the Super Bowl for NBC4 in Washington (D.C.), where she spent six years early in her career before leaving to work for ESPN in 2011. She served as SportsCenter anchor and worked on several assignments while at ESPN including serving as host of ABC’s Indianapolis 500 pre-race coverage. She spent several years prior to joining ESPN reporting and working as host of TNT’s prerace coverage of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS).

Czarniak will work with JGR’s social and digital team to produce content that will originate on the team’s social channels including Facebook and Instagram (@joegibbsracing). The team will launch a special Facebook feature over the course of the days leading into the race titled “500 Seconds Before the 500” profiling each of JGR’s four MENCS drivers.

“This is such a cool opportunity to have the chance to provide an insider’s look at the preparations with a team like Joe Gibbs Racing and its drivers,” said Czarniak. “I’m not sure anything like this has been done before which makes it very exciting. I love NASCAR and know how passionate the fans are. I’ve always enjoyed working with Coach Gibbs and I’m really looking forward to sharing this behind the scenes access and unique look at JGR’s preparation for the big race.”

JGR coverage featuring Czarniak will begin Thursday from Daytona.
