On Tuesday, May 23, Daniel Suárez, Subway® ambassador and Joe Gibbs Racing driver hosted a special after-school event at the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Greater Charlotte to celebrate the upcoming release of Disney•Pixar’s “Cars 3.
Suárez voices Danny Swervez, a next-gen racer who’s ascending the Piston-Cup ladder against all odds. A mid-season replacement, Swervez is a quick learner who pushes himself to the limit to overcome obstacles both on and off the track.
Suarez fired up his specially branded Subway®/Cars 3 stock car for the children in attendance, after speaking with them about the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
As part of the event, children in attendance were treated to Subway Fresh Fit for Kids meals, featuring Subway/Cars 3 digital watches, available at Subway® restaurants with the purchase of a kids meal starting June 5th.
